Guess How Much I Love You – Once upon a time, in a smallish meadow, there lived two lovable hares named Little Nutbrown Hare and Big Nutbrown Hare. They were both friends and had a special way of expressing their love for each other.
One sunny morning, as they were frolicking in the meadow, Little Nutbrown Hare turned to his friend and said,” Big Nutbrown Hare, do you know how much I love you?”
Big Nutbrown Hare smiled warmly and replied,” Oh, Little Nutbrown Hare, I love you to the moon and back!”
Little Nutbrown Hare laughed,” That is a lot, but do you know how much I love you?” He stretched his arms as wide as he could and said,” I love you as wide as my arms can reach.”
Big Nutbrown Hare was touched but wanted to show more love. He hopped up onto a gemstone and spread his long legs as far as he could.” I love you as high as I can hop!” he expressed.
Little Nutbrown Hare watched in admiration, but he was not ready to give up. He galloped over to a nearby tree and stood on his tiptoes, reaching his little paw as high as he could.” I love you as high as I can reach, all the way to the top of the tree!” he blatted.
Big Nutbrown Hare chuckled,” You’re quite the little adventurer, aren’t you?” also, he had an idea. He led Little Nutbrown Hare to the meadow’s edge, where they could see the wide, open sky.
Big Nutbrown Hare prolonged his arms out more and said,” Little Nutbrown Hare, I love you as high as the sky!”
Little Nutbrown Hare looked up at the vast blue sky and felt his heart swell with love. He took a deep breath and said,” Well, Big Nutbrown Hare, I love you as high as the sky, and I love you as far as the horizon, where the meadow meets the sky.”
Big Nutbrown Hare was overjoyed. He knew that Little Nutbrown Hare’s love was bottomless, just like his own. They hopped and played in the meadow, their hearts full of love for each other.
As the sun began to set, they nestled together under a tree, watching the stars eyeblink in the night sky. Little Nutbrown Hare yawned and snuggled near to his friend.” Guess what, Big Nutbrown Hare?”
Big Nutbrown Hare smiled,” What’s it,?”
” I love you to the moon and back,” whispered Little Nutbrown Hare, feeling safe and loved in the arms of his lovely friend.
Big Nutbrown Hare rumored back,” And I love you to the moon and back, my dear Little Nutbrown Hare.”
With that, they closed their eyes and fell asleep, knowing that their love was as vast as the sky and as deep as the meadow, and it would always keep them warm and happy in each other’s company.
